Comparative and superlative form

COMPARATIVES

Comparative is the name for the grammar used when comparing two things. We add -ER THAN atthe end of the adjective, in the case of adjectives which have less than three syllables. If they are three or longer, we use MORE _____ (adj) THAN.


Example:
This spinning top is bigger than the other one.
                            This spinning top is smaller than the other one.

              A jugar........



SUPERLATIVES
A superlative adjective is used to compare three or more objects, people or places. We use it adding THE (before the adjective) and -EST at the end of the adjective, in the case of adjectives with less than three syllabes. If they are they are three or more syllabes, we use THE MOST _________.
Example:
SUPERMANSuperman is the fastest.
